Mexico City Light Rail
The project developed for the Electric Transport Service of the Federal District includes a signage system for low-visibility points along with gearshift automation, stop lights for drivers, the monitoring of rail switches and activation of a "train stop" system for emergencies in the event operators go beyond some signal in these areas.
Moreover, Ikusi has incorporated an OAS (Operations Assistance System) that enables train optimization, monitoring and control throughout the line, redounding to better passenger service. The project developed by Ikusi also includes a Tetra voice radio and data system serving as the backbone for systems intercommunication and avails of train radios and portable equipment for operations, maintenance and management personnel. These systems are integrated into a central control post (CCP) where operators will conduct line regulation and monitoring.
