  • The solution includes Spider Information Broker (IB) and AODB/RMS

Nuevo Pudahuel, the group comprising Groupe AdP, Vinci Airports and Astaldi Concessioni, was awarded the airport concession in 2015. It has now entrusted Ikusi with the deployment and customisation of an automated operations management and airport resources solution in addition to the integration of 15 airport and air traffic systems with an information broker. This constitutes a huge leap forward designed to exploit the existing infrastructure better.

Ikusi has put the potential of its Spider Information Broker (IB) solution together with the AODB/RMS of its partner Gentrack, leader in airport solutions of this type; this has allowed Santiago de Chile airport to automate the management of its operations and resources. All this is in addition to implementing a technological framework designed to integrate a range of systems that will boost the use of international standards such as AIDX.

This comprehensive solution increases operational efficiency, improves strategic planning and assists in automating the processes, leading to an improvement in passenger experience, one of the key aims of the new concessionaire.

This project has emerged to join another that Ikusi has recently carried out using the Spider platform at Santiago de Chile airport, where it has created the technological framework designed to address the concession management model in which this airport operates. This entails the need to develop a framework of relations between the public owner (MOP) and the private consortium (Nuevo Pudahuel), which is of course subject to meeting certain quality parameters that the owner (normally a government body) has to guarantee in accordance with the international standards of organisations such as the ACI, the ICAO, IATA, etc.
