Ikusi set to participate in a trade mission to Colombia of the SPRI, the Basque Business Development Agency
From 29 February until 3 March Ikusi will be taking part in various meetings with representatives of the public administrations of Colombia to announce its proposals for sustainable urban development, mainly in the sphere of mobility and security for Smart Cities. These meetings come within the framework of the trade mission organised by the SPRI, the Basque Business Development Agency. This agency reports to the Government of the Basque Autonomous Community (region), which has signed a collaboration agreement with FINDETER, the Financial Institution for Development, which is linked to Colombia’s Ministry of Finance and Public Credit.
Ikusi is scheduled to take part in three events in all. On 29 February within the sphere of the SPRI mission, Ramón Montés (CEO of Ikusi ISS Colombia) is due to speak on Ikusi’s experience in business development in Colombia, the country where the company has been present since 2007.
On Tuesday 1 March Ikusi will be participating in a symposium organised by FINDETER in the city of Barranquilla. There, on behalf of Ikusi, Haritz Legarda (head of Ikusi’s Mobility area) and Ramón Montes will be presenting the company’s offer in the sphere of mobility and security for Smart Cities, respectively.
Finally, on 3 March Ikusi will be taking part in an event in Bogotá entitled “Basque Solutions in Sustainable Urban Development”. It will be attended by politicians and technicians from most of Colombia’s municipalities as well as Colombian companies. Ikusi will be showcasing its proposal of solutions for this sphere, with the focus on smart solutions for urban security.
