PRISM – Interoperable Platform for Urban Mobility Services in Smart Cities (TSI-100107-2015-35)
Project funded by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, within the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2013-2016. (TSI-100105-2015-35).
PRISM project aims to develop an integrated and open platform for the management of urban mobility in smart cities. The platform seeks massive heterogeneous data processing and interconnection with operational transport systems and information systems to citizens. A key aspect of PRISM is interoperability so that the ability of the platform to work with different internal and external subsystems is guaranteed and provided by different vendors in order to overcome the current situation centered on proprietary solutions that hinder modularity, diversity suppliers and capacity development of mobility management systems. The reception and provision of open data for citizens facilitate the creation of new products and value added services.
The PRISM project seeks to meet these limitations, and is considered highly innovative and highly technological, industrial and strategic to allow the development of a comprehensive and open management of mobility in smart cities platform value.
