  • Both systems will be operational in 12 light railway vehicles for Line 1 of the City of Guadalajara

Bombardier has once again placed its trust in Ikusi, this time to equip 12 model TEG-15 Light Railway Vehicles (LRVs) consisting of two carriages each and which will be running along line one of the light railway in Guadalajara, Jalisco, in Mexico. This line one will be extended and modernised to be operational next year. A total of 24 carriages will be fitted with onboard Ikusi public address systems and a video recording system.

Previously, Bombardier also chose Ikusi to equip four trains that are currently operating in the Mexico City Light Railway (STE-DF) with various systems developed by Ikusi, including a digital intercom system.  Both contracts demonstrate the trust that the Canadian company Bombardier Transportation, a world leader in railway technology, has placed in the quality of Ikusi products.

It is also worth pointing out that to execute this onboard telecommunications network project, which includes solutions in the sphere of IoT, equipment produced by Cisco, a world leader in IT and one of Ikusi’s R&D partners, was used.
