Kansas integrates its security systems with Ikusi
The company Kansas City Southern has deployed a new access control system, implemented by Ikusi, which allows monitoring different access points like vehicle barriers, crosswalks and administrative areas in their buildings in Monterrey and Mexico City. It is a project that Ikusi integrates the management system of firm Genetec, with the access control system (HID). Some of the new features of Ikusi’s proposal is that it emphasizes that many users will have access to different points of the system with his cell phone through mobile licenses. This implementation is a step forward in the security strategy of Kansas, as it will permit to integrate two systems that previously operated independently and incorporate world class technology, which gives greater efficiency to its processes in both locations, also to provide specific reports.
Kansas City Southern offers to their customers the principal railway route between central industrial regions of USA and Mexico.
