The sector for electronic systems in industrial machinery has experienced exponential growth in recent years.<\/p>\n
Danfoss, the Danish multinational in the sector, with an important plan for expansion and investment in innovation, today announced the agreement to acquire the remote control business, currently owned by the company Ikusi.<\/p>\n
Ikusi’s remote control business includes equipment and technologies for wireless operation and control of truck-mounted cranes, winches, off-road machines and other applications. The acquisition reflects Danfoss’ strategic focus on the use of connectivity as a competitive advantage.<\/p>\n

Ikusi Remote Control is an innovation leader with state-of-the-art technology and a growing client base. In the last few years, working hand in hand with Ikusi, Telecontrol has developed new products and services that have positioned it as a new benchmark in the mobile sector, in addition to the industrial and construction sectors, where it was already operating.<\/p>\n
This operation will enable Telecontrol to attain greater sectoral specialization. Consequently, the new business project will allow it to strengthen its activities and develop a strategy to ensure long-term growth. The remote control business will be integrated into the Danfoss Power Solutions business segment.

\nThe acquisition is subject to the necessary approvals from the relevant agencies and competition authorities. Therefore, the acquisition will be fully completed during the third quarter of 2018.<\/p>\n
