Ikusi Deploys a State-of-the-Art Laboratory at the Institución Universitaria de Barranquilla

The Institución Universitaria de Barranquilla has taken a decisive step in modernizing its academic infrastructure with the launch of a state-of-the-art technology laboratory. This project, developed by Ikusi using Cisco technology, reinforces the institution’s commitment to innovation and educational excellence as part of its development plan.

The new facility incorporates advanced Cisco equipment—switches, routers, access points, and wireless controllers—enabling students to gain hands-on experience in designing and deploying secure networks, managing centralized connectivity, and working with real-world wireless coverage scenarios. In addition, the creation of a laboratory for electronics, microelectronics, and computer assembly will significantly enhance the practical training of related engineering programs.
