Ikusi Shares Its Experience in End-to-End Project and Operations Management at PMO Summit América Andina 2026

Hugo Valenzuela, Operations and PMO Director at Ikusi Chile, took part as a speaker at PMO Summit América Andina 2026, where he shared the company’s vision on the evolution of PMOs and the importance of integrating presales, project execution, and operations to deliver value throughout the entire lifecycle of complex technology projects.

Ikusi participated in PMO Summit América Andina 2026, one of the region’s leading events focused on project, portfolio, and project management office (PMO) management, held on August 26 and 27 in Bogotá.

The company was represented by Hugo Valenzuela, Ikusi Chile’s Operations and PMO Director, who opened the second day of the event with a presentation titled “Unified Management: Strategies for Integrating Projects and Operations in Critical Infrastructures.”

During his presentation, Valenzuela shared Ikusi’s perspective on the evolution of PMOs toward more integrated models capable of connecting every stage of a project’s lifecycle. In this regard, he emphasized the importance of an approach that goes beyond project execution and encompasses everything from presales and solution design to deployment, operations, and ongoing support and enhancement services.

“The growing complexity of critical infrastructures requires a unified management approach that connects strategy, technology, and operations. Our vision is that the PMO function should create value at every stage of the process. Its role cannot be limited to delivering projects on time and within budget; it must also help ensure that solutions generate sustainable outcomes for customers throughout their entire lifecycle,” said Hugo Valenzuela.

Ikusi’s experience in this field is supported by numerous projects delivered across strategic sectors in Latin America, particularly within highly critical airport environments. During the session, the company shared key lessons learned from projects at some of the leading airports in Chile and Peru, where it has managed initiatives involving technology design and integration, deployment, commissioning, operations, and the continuous evolution of services.
