A customized solution on Cisco infrastructure
An important Spanish financial institution has become part of Ikusi’s client portfolio thanks to a project in which the Networking and Project Integration and Engineering teams have combined their knowledge to give the client the answer they needed.
The Challenge
The client wanted to take advantage of Meraki’s wi-fi infrastructure, deployed at the headquarters to obtain real-time information about the capacity, location of people in the building, identity, type of device used or time of use of common areas, among other variables. This information is necessary for all the casuistry derived from Covid, but it also provides a response to emergency and security policies.
The solution
Ikusi has developed the software that allows to collect data from the wi-fi network to bring them to the IoT platform of the bank where they are analyzed. A project that positions Ikusi as a company capable of developing applications on Cisco’s infrastructure. A line of activity that Cisco is promoting as a way to add value to its proposal.
The project has begun to be deployed at the customer’s headquarters, but in the future it will be expanded to its corporate headquarters in the rest of Spain.
